Sales Executive

About the role

The Sales Executive will be based on‑site in Kigali and will drive new business for MLB GLOBAL, a pan‑African investment holding company. Reporting to senior management, you will build a robust sales pipeline, engage corporate clients and partners, and support the company’s growth objectives across the continent.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in African markets.
• Conduct market research and prepare compelling sales presentations and proposals aligned with MLB GLOBAL’s investment strategy.
• Negotiate terms, close deals and support deal execution with internal teams.
• Maintain and nurture long‑term relationships with corporate clients, partners and senior decision‑makers.
• Track sales performance, report on market trends and provide feedback to refine products and go‑to‑market strategies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development, lead generation and client relationship management, preferably in investment, financial services or B2B environments.
• Strong negotiation, deal‑closing and presentation abilities with confidence engaging senior stakeholders.
• Solid analytical and research skills to understand markets and translate insights into sales strategies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English; additional regional languages are a plus.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and meet targets in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics or related field, or equivalent experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools.
• Competence in Microsoft Office or similar productivity software.
