Recreation Supervisor

About the role

The Recreation Supervisor ensures a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for guests using the hotel’s recreation facilities. You will enforce policies, respond to emergencies, and support guests of all abilities while maintaining high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and enforce facility rules and regulations.
• Monitor activities, intervene in emergencies, and report incidents.
• Clean, maintain, and inspect recreational equipment and supplies.
• Wash, mop, and keep the recreation area tidy.
• Assist guests with disabilities and anticipate service needs.
• Support coworkers by clarifying tasks and fostering positive relationships.
• Maintain professional appearance and protect guest privacy.
• Use computers and point‑of‑sale systems to record information.
• Perform physical duties such as lifting, moving, and navigating varied surfaces.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least one year of related recreation or hospitality experience.
• CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Ability to work full‑time on‑site in Kigali.
• Physical capability to lift up to 25 lb unassisted and heavier items with help.

Required skills

• CPR certification.
• First Aid certification.
• Proficiency with point‑of‑sale computer systems.
