Quality Manager – Project (SHEQ)

About the role

The Quality Manager – Project (SHEQ) is responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring the integrated management system for a construction project in Rwanda. The role ensures compliance with legal, contractual and regulatory requirements while driving continuous improvement aligned with international best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and monitor the integrated Quality, Safety, Environment and Health (SHEQ) management system.
• Guarantee compliance with legal, internal, regulatory and contractual obligations.
• Define, implement and track improvement actions for the management system.
• Organise training, information and awareness programmes for employees and subcontractors and control related documentation.
• Represent the company with clients and external entities on safety, quality and environmental matters.
• Prepare and deliver SHEQ functional reports.
• Manage human and material resources related to SHEQ activities.

Required profile

• Higher education in Engineering or a related field.
• CCP of Occupational Safety and Hygiene senior technician (preferential).
• Minimum 8 years of experience in building works, including market management or large‑scale projects.
• Strong communication, leadership, planning, organization and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Required skills

• Solid knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards and audits.
• Proficiency with MS Office tools.
• Experience with SAP (preferential).
