Project Manager - Safe Water Project

About the role
WaterAid Rwanda is seeking a Project Manager to lead the Safe Water Project, contributing to the global goal of universal access to clean water, sanitation and hygiene by 2030. You will work closely with senior management, partners, government officials and donors to drive sustainable change.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, implement and monitor safe water projects.
- Develop and manage project budgets and resources.
- Conduct monitoring, evaluation and reporting activities.
- Build and maintain partnerships with NGOs, government and civil society.
- Ensure quality assurance and risk management throughout the project lifecycle.
- Champion gender equality, social inclusion and safeguarding principles.
Required profile
- Bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering, water engineering, sanitation, public health, environmental health science, environmental management or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience for bachelor graduates or 4 years for master graduates.
- Proven experience working with INGOs in the WASH sector.
- Strong understanding of gender, equality and social inclusion issues.
