Project Manager – Education Program

About the role
EF Education First, in partnership with Efekta, is seeking a mission‑driven Project Manager to lead the SPEAQ program, which aims to strengthen English proficiency among pre‑service teachers in Rwanda. Based at the University of Rwanda College of Education campus, you will travel nationwide to collaborate with Teacher Training Colleges and other education partners.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee the implementation of the SPEAQ program across 16 Teacher Training Colleges.
- Work closely with university faculty, government officials, and EF academic teams to align curricula and training activities.
- Build capacity of instructors and create immersive English learning environments for future teachers.
- Monitor progress, report outcomes, and ensure the program meets its two‑year objectives.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings and maintain strong relationships with institutional leaders.
Required profile
- Passion for teacher education and systemic educational improvement.
- Experience working within higher education or teacher‑training institutions.
- Proven ability to build trusted relationships with academic and government stakeholders.
- Strong facilitation and collaboration skills across diverse groups.
