About the role
OpenMind Haven, Rwanda’s first free anonymous digital mental‑health platform for young people, is seeking a licensed psychologist, counselor or clinical social worker to serve as its founding Mental Health Lead. This volunteer position will shape the clinical direction of the platform and support youth across the country.
Key responsibilities
- Design and guide the clinical framework that underpins the platform’s services.
- Supervise, mentor and train a team of mental‑health agents who provide peer‑to‑peer support.
- Ensure all interventions comply with professional, ethical and regulatory standards.
- Represent OpenMind Haven’s clinical credibility with partners, funders and other stakeholders.
Required profile
- Licensed or certified mental‑health professional (psychologist, counselor or clinical social worker).
- Strong commitment to improving youth mental health in Rwanda.
- Availability to contribute a few hours per week remotely and attend occasional in‑person meetings in Kigali.
