Learning and Development Manager (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a strategic, people‑focused Learning and Development Manager to lead our remote employee growth initiatives. In this fully remote position you will design, deliver and evaluate training programs that close skill gaps and foster a culture of continuous learning across our global workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with C‑level executives and department heads to identify organizational and individual skill gaps and align L&D initiatives with business goals.
• Create engaging training curricula—including e‑learning modules, virtual workshops, and micro‑learning content—tailored for a distributed workforce.
• Lead and continuously improve the remote onboarding experience for new hires worldwide.
• Oversee the Learning Management System, ensuring courses are accessible, intuitive and properly tracked.
• Forecast, monitor and optimise the annual L&D budget; negotiate contracts with external training vendors and digital content providers.
• Analyse training metrics, conduct skills audits and measure ROI, using learner feedback to refine offerings.
• Collaborate with managers and HR to develop leadership training and career‑pathing frameworks that support talent retention.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Education or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Learning & Development, including at least 2 years in a remote or distributed environment.
• Proven ability to manage, coach and evaluate teams in virtual settings.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning theories, blended learning strategies and instructional design principles.
• Excellent written, verbal and virtual presentation skills.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with modern Learning Management Systems such as Docebo, Canvas or Absorb.
• Proficiency in e‑learning authoring tools like Articulate Storyline and Adobe Captivate.
