Inventory & AP Junior Accountant

About the role

The Inventory & AP Junior Accountant supports the Inventory Senior Accountant in managing One Acre Fund’s global inventory accounting processes. This junior role ensures accurate accounting, reconciliation, and compliance while contributing to process improvements, system automation, and strategic initiatives across inventory and accounts payable functions.

Key responsibilities

• Own monthly inventory reconciliations for all programs in assigned countries.
• Coordinate with the Global Supply Chain & Accounting team to resolve open accounts‑payable items.
• Support the monthly AP reconciliation process to ensure timely month‑end close.
• Participate in projects aimed at improving AP accounting accuracy and reducing close‑cycle time.
• Identify process gaps in inventory workflows and propose scalable solutions.
• Assist in designing and implementing project plans, timelines, and approaches.
• Provide recurring data‑entry and accounting support to Logistics, Procurement, and Global Sourcing teams.
• Communicate project status, finance needs, expectations, and timelines to stakeholders.
