Head of Beneficiation Plant

About the role

Stratmin is seeking a Head of Beneficiation Plant to lead the on‑site operations of its new beneficiation facility in Rweru. This senior position is responsible for delivering production targets safely, efficiently and in line with the company’s integrated value‑chain strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and execute daily production to meet throughput, recovery and product quality goals.
• Supervise plant teams, enforce safety protocols and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate maintenance activities and drive process optimisation and continuous improvement.
• Monitor plant performance, analyse operational data and report KPIs to senior management.
• Manage budgets, control costs and liaise with vendors and external service providers.
• Collaborate with geology, mining and processing teams to align plant operations with overall project objectives.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in mineral processing and beneficiation plant operations.
• Proven track record in production management, achieving throughput, recovery and quality targets.
• Strong leadership skills with a safety‑first mindset.
• Solid understanding of plant maintenance, asset reliability and cross‑disciplinary coordination.
• Experience analysing operational data and using KPIs for decision‑making.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mineral Processing, Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, Mining Engineering or a related field.
