Manufacturing Inspector

About the role

The Inspector ensures that manufactured products meet customer specifications through final inspections, accurate measurements, and effective communication with cross‑functional teams. This position supports production goals by maintaining product quality and traceability.

Key responsibilities

• Perform final inspections to verify product compliance with customer requirements.
• Use micrometers and other measuring instruments to maintain consistent product performance.
• Operate computer systems to retrieve work orders, schedules, and inventory data.
• Prepare product‑specific shipping boxes according to work‑order specifications.
• Record in‑process inspection and testing data to support traceability and documentation.
• Communicate quality issues and material availability with quality, shipping, and value‑added departments.
• Conduct cycle counts and manage non‑conforming material processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the department supervisor.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent; relevant work experience may substitute for education.
• At least 1 year of experience in a quality‑focused manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with quality management tracking software.

Required skills

• Proficiency with micrometers and other precision measuring tools.
• Experience using quality management tracking software.
• Basic computer operation for work‑order and inventory management.
