Foreman I (Structure and Finishings)

About the role

We are looking for a Foreman I specialized in structure and finishings to lead and coordinate construction activities on site in Rwanda. The role involves overseeing the execution of civil and building works, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Organise, control and monitor all tasks related to structure and finishings on the construction site.
• Manage human and material resources to guarantee project execution as planned.
• Implement production plans according to received instructions and supervise task distribution across all phases.
• Identify, communicate and resolve any anomalies, adjusting methods and processes as needed.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environment (HSE) standards and take full responsibility for meeting deadlines.

Required profile

• 9th grade education or a technical‑professional qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in civil construction and building works.
• Strong knowledge of building construction, civil engineering and interpretation of drawings and project documents.
• Proven experience on high‑rise and mixed‑use projects with high‑standard finishes.
• Good command of English and a strong HSE culture.
• Analytical, problem‑solving, customer‑oriented and able to work in a team.
• Willingness to travel as required.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
