Director of Programs

About the role

The Business Professionals Network (BPN) is seeking a Director of Programs to lead and scale its Rwanda portfolio. This senior position sits on the Senior Management Team and works closely with the Country Director to translate strategy into high‑impact entrepreneurship and SME support programs.

Key responsibilities

• Translate organizational strategy into actionable program priorities and oversee design, implementation, and performance.
• Ensure program delivery within budget, manage risks, and maintain compliance with donor requirements.
• Drive monitoring, evaluation, and impact measurement systems.
• Maintain high‑quality coaching, training, and SME support services while improving operational efficiency.
• Lead and develop Heads of Department and program teams, set KPIs, and foster a collaborative culture.

Required profile

• 10+ years of program management experience, preferably in entrepreneurship, SME support, or development.
• 5+ years in a senior leadership role managing donor‑funded programs.
• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, or a related field.
