Consultant to Update Integrated Vector Management (IVM) Training Modules

About the role

The Rwanda Ministry of Health and Rwanda Biomedical Centre, in partnership with Jhpiego, are seeking a qualified consultant to review and update national Integrated Vector Management (IVM) training resources. The consultant will produce user‑friendly, culturally adapted materials to strengthen community capacity for malaria vector control.

Key responsibilities

• Review existing IVM guidelines, training manuals and communication tools.
• Develop a comprehensive IVM training curriculum and facilitator’s guide.
• Write Kinyarwanda scripts for an audio‑visual training package.
• Design and produce an illustrated IVM training booklet with visual aids.
• Prepare all materials for printing, dissemination and supportive supervision.
• Deliver an inception report, draft modules and finalized guidelines.

Required profile

• Proven experience in malaria control and Integrated Vector Management.
• Background in developing training curricula and adult‑learning materials.
• Ability to work with community health workers, local authorities and stakeholders.
• Fluency in Kinyarwanda and English.
