About the role

Keza AI is building a cultural‑advisor platform that helps African families navigate ceremonies and relationships. The company is live and looking for a co‑founder to own the commercial side, from vendor partnerships to market entry.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, sign and nurture relationships with ceremony vendors such as caterers, photographers, venues and printers.
• Develop distribution channels within diaspora communities, churches, student groups and online networks.
• Acquire the first paying customers, experiment with pricing and build repeatable revenue streams.
• Select the initial market, launch the product there and create a playbook for future expansion.
• Collaborate with the technical and product teams to ensure commercial initiatives align with product capabilities.

Required profile

• Proven business‑development experience in Africa, preferably in events, hospitality or mobile‑money sectors.
• Existing network of vendors or diaspora organisations and the ability to make at least ten meaningful outreach calls in the first week.
• Comfortable in client‑facing situations, including meetings, negotiations and follow‑up.
• Motivated by equity ownership rather than a fixed salary.
• Based in, or strongly connected to, one of Keza AI’s priority markets.
