About the role

The Bilingual Language Assessor administers high‑quality language assessments in both English and French, supporting candidates throughout their assessment journey. The role ensures accurate records, generates detailed reports, and contributes to continuous improvement of assessment services.

Key responsibilities

• Administer comprehensive English and French language assessments, maintaining accuracy and consistency.
• Conduct digital assessments using advanced platforms to enhance efficiency and reliability.
• Develop and share preparation tips to help candidates optimise their readiness.
• Generate detailed performance reports and maintain precise assessment records.
• Issue pre‑ and post‑assessments for candidates in the Bridge program.
• Respond to candidate inquiries, providing clear explanations of results.
• Evaluate assessment quality and candidate experience, offering actionable recommendations for improvement.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by the Language Assessment Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Languages, Education or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in language assessment, teaching, testing or a related area.
• Fluency in written and spoken English and French.
• Strong analytical, report‑writing and communication skills.
• Customer‑service orientation with the ability to explain results clearly.
• Knowledge of language proficiency frameworks such as CEFR (preferred).

Required skills

• Proficiency with digital assessment platforms.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office suite.
• Advanced use of Google Workspace tools.
