About the role
The Tony Blair Institute, in partnership with the Rwanda Development Board, is looking for an Advisor to strengthen Rwanda’s tourism competitiveness and improve investment facilitation. The role will be embedded within the RDB, working closely with the Tourism Office, regulatory bodies and investment teams.
Key responsibilities
- Enhance hospitality service‑quality standards, inspection practices and enforcement credibility.
- Advance tourism product diversification by identifying gaps and building a pipeline of new offerings.
- Improve investment facilitation systems to attract, assess and convert high‑quality tourism investments.
- Support the Rwanda Development Board in delivering consistent, credible hospitality regulation.
- Coordinate across tourism, investment and government stakeholders to streamline processes.
- Diagnose operational and market bottlenecks and propose practical solutions.
Required profile
- Delivery‑oriented professional with experience bridging tourism strategy, service quality, regulation and investment facilitation.
- Proven ability to work with multiple government and private‑sector stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills to assess investor proposals and market opportunities.
