1st Level Operations Engineer (NOC Front Office/Automation)

About the role

Ericsson is seeking a motivated NOC Front Office/Automation Engineer to ensure continuous availability and performance of services for customers in Kigali. You will work within the 1st Level Operations team, handling higher‑level support tasks and contributing to service reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Provide assurance support activities and maintain service quality.
• Manage incidents, ensuring timely resolution and communication.
• Participate in problem management to identify root causes and prevent recurrence.
• Perform system administration tasks across the network environment.
• Collaborate with billing operations to ensure accurate invoicing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Telecom or related engineering field.
• 3–5 years of experience deploying systems and leading testing teams.
• At least 1 year of experience in data‑center management operations.
• Knowledge of managed‑service telecom operations practices.
• Strong English communication skills and ability to share knowledge.
