Process Engineer

About the role

Rogers Corporation is seeking a Process Engineer to support day‑to‑day manufacturing operations and drive continuous improvements in yield, process efficiency, and product quality. The role involves troubleshooting, statistical analysis, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams to launch new products and resolve technical issues.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain safety, product quality, and manufacturing effectiveness through daily troubleshooting and resolution of process difficulties.
• Assist in optimizing manufacturing processes to achieve sustainable cost‑effectiveness and performance gains via capital projects, statistical analysis, designed experiments, and procedural changes.
• Support resolution of customer technical and quality issues and provide special product solutions.
• Participate in cross‑functional teams to solve problems, develop, and start up new products.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Minimum 2 years of process engineering experience with chemical plating, surface preparation, and post‑treatment processes.
• Strong understanding of process capability analysis and statistical process control (SPC).
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities, attention to detail, and ability to analyze technical data.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
