MNO Relationship Manager – Africa

About the role

We are looking for an MNO Relationship Manager to lead and grow partnerships with Mobile Network Operators across key African markets. Reporting to the Head of Strategy and Business Development, you will own the end‑to‑end Mobile Money integration process, from initial engagement to live launch.

Key responsibilities

• Build and manage strategic relationships with MNOs throughout Africa.
• Drive Mobile Money partnerships from first conversation through successful go‑live.
• Secure API credentials, wallets, documentation and other integration requirements from MNO partners.
• Coordinate with Product, Engineering and Commercial teams to deliver integrations and resolve blockers.
• Track partnership progress, manage timelines and ensure successful launches.
• Represent the company in meetings, workshops and industry events.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in payments.
• 1‑2 years of experience working directly with MNOs or Mobile Money providers.
• Fluent in English or French.
• Strong understanding of Mobile Money, APIs, USSD, STK and payment integrations.
• Proven ability to manage partnerships and drive projects to completion.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Self‑motivated, organized and comfortable working independently.
• Willingness to travel frequently across Africa.
