Director of New Partnerships – EMEA

About the role

MASS is looking for a full‑time Director of New Partnerships to lead growth initiatives across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) from its Africa Studio in Kigali, Rwanda. Reporting to the Senior Director of New Partnerships, you will shape the strategic roadmap for emerging markets and drive high‑value collaborations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the annual strategic sourcing plan for EMEA in line with the organization’s broader strategy.
• Conduct market research, monitor competitive dynamics and identify repositioning opportunities.
• Maintain and analyse EMEA pipeline data in the CRM for internal reporting and board updates.
• Identify and cultivate upstream partners before RFPs are issued, aiming for sole‑source awards.
• Represent MASS at key EMEA events and ecosystem gatherings.
• Manage procurement portal monitoring (GovWin, SLED portals) and provide regular insights.
• Own interview story structures, pitch frameworks and qualification collateral for the Africa studio.
• Coach Design Principals on interview preparation, scripting and delivery.
• Lead pursuit teams, coordinate submission schedules and ensure successful delivery of proposals.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in strategic partnerships, business development or market intelligence.
• Proven ability to design and implement growth roadmaps for multi‑regional portfolios.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with upstream partners and ecosystem stakeholders.
• Experience coaching senior leaders and managing complex pursuit processes.
