Cluster Sales & Marketing Manager

About the role

The Lux Collective seeks a dynamic Cluster Sales & Marketing Manager to act as the public face of its two luxury properties in Rwanda – LUX* Lake Kivu and SALT of Akagera. Reporting to senior leadership, the manager will shape and execute sales, marketing and communication strategies that raise brand visibility locally, across Africa and internationally, while driving revenue growth and positioning Rwanda as a premier luxury travel destination.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement innovative sales and marketing plans aligned with business objectives for both properties.
• Grow market share and identify new revenue opportunities through market analysis and trend monitoring.
• Represent the brands at industry events, client meetings and networking functions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and clients.
• Manage key accounts, negotiate partnerships and oversee contract negotiations.
• Collaborate closely with regional and international teams to ensure consistent brand messaging.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of hospitality sales and marketing experience at a managerial level.
• Deep knowledge of Rwanda’s tourism market and luxury international brands.
• High integrity, professionalism and discretion.
• Strong commercial mindset with proven ability to drive business growth.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
• Experience using CRM platforms and social media tools for marketing.
• Ability to leverage AI‑powered tools for content creation, market research and campaign optimisation.
