Logistics Manager

About the role

The Logistics Manager will lead all logistics operations for Partners In Health’s IMB programmes in Rwanda, ensuring efficient, accountable and transparent warehousing, inventory, asset and fleet functions. Reporting to the Director of Operations and based in Rwinkwavu, the role provides technical leadership to district logistics teams and guarantees reliable transport for health programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement fleet management plans, monitor vehicle utilisation, maintenance costs and recommend replacements or disposals.
• Ensure all vehicles and motorcycles are insured, licensed and comply with national regulations.
• Oversee warehousing and asset management, establishing standard operating procedures for storage, inventory control and asset tracking.
• Manage contracts related to fleet and logistics services, including maintenance, fuel and tracking systems.
• Promote safe driving practices and enforce organisational policies on vehicle use.
• Coordinate with district logistics and inventory teams to align processes with IMB strategic goals.

Required profile

• Proven experience in logistics, fleet and warehouse management within a non‑profit or health‑sector environment.
• Ability to provide technical leadership and operational oversight to multi‑site teams.
• Strong understanding of asset disposal policies and regulatory compliance.
