About the role
As a Service Engineer I on Zipline’s Service Operations team, you will provide first‑level technical support for grounded aircraft, droids, docks, and related operational systems. The role focuses on returning assets to service quickly, safely, and consistently by following documented troubleshooting procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Provide first‑level technical support for grounded aircraft, droids, docks, and related operational systems.
- Follow approved troubleshooting guides, diagnostic workflows, and escalation procedures to restore asset airworthiness.
- Capture clear information and coordinate with Service Engineer II, Engineering, Maintenance, and Support Operations teams.
- Escalate complex or novel technical issues to higher‑level engineers or specialized support teams.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve troubleshooting documentation and identify process gaps.
Required profile
- Technically curious and calm under pressure.
- Disciplined in following documented procedures.
- Strong communication skills across multiple teams.
- Ability to work in a 24/7 operational support environment.
