Internal Auditor

About the role

Worldvision is seeking an Internal Auditor to strengthen its IT risk management and control environment. You will work closely with IT, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Finance and other stakeholders to ensure robust governance and cybersecurity practices.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Annual Internal Audit Plan with a risk‑based focus on IT audit areas.
• Monitor emerging IT risks, cybersecurity threats, regulatory changes and industry trends.
• Plan and execute IT audit engagements according to approved programs, timelines and quality standards.
• Assess IT governance, risk management and internal controls, providing practical recommendations.
• Conduct audits covering IT General Controls, cybersecurity, access management, backup and disaster recovery, project assurance and third‑party technology risk.
• Leverage data analytics and technology‑enabled audit techniques to improve audit efficiency and coverage.
• Prepare comprehensive audit working papers documenting all phases of the audit.
• Validate and follow up on management’s implementation of audit actions, tracking issues and reporting status.
• Communicate emerging risks, control weaknesses and improvement opportunities to management and the Internal Audit Manager.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of audit methodologies, tools and data‑analytics techniques.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of IT governance, risk management and internal control frameworks.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting findings and recommendations.
• Professional objectivity and independence in audit activities.
• Experience preparing audit documentation and following up on corrective actions.
