THRIVE Project Manager

About the role

The THRIVE Project Manager will lead the implementation of the THRIVE Project in Rwanda, integrating resilience and livelihood components with other development initiatives. Based in Kigali, the role reports to the Integrated Program Director and works within World Vision’s child‑focused humanitarian framework.

Key responsibilities

• Establish mechanisms to ensure quality implementation of agriculture and economic development activities.
• Support project planning, targeting, monitoring, and impact reporting.
• Champion project models across clusters using a customer‑driven approach.
• Provide technical support to the Resilience & Livelihood (R&L) sector and ensure alignment of livelihood core models.
• Develop and execute cost‑effective marketing and integration strategies for target markets.
• Prepare quarterly business plans, review performance, and take corrective actions.
• Collaborate with VFR to design attractive products and services.
• Promote THRIVE products through business forums and mentorship platforms.
• Lead staff training and facilitate community and client capacity building.
• Coordinate with project leads to ensure cross‑team collaboration on multi‑sectoral poverty‑alleviation initiatives.

Required profile

• Rwandan national with a strong commitment to humanitarian development.
• Proven experience in project planning, monitoring, and reporting within livelihood or agricultural programs.
• Ability to coordinate multi‑sectoral projects and work with diverse partners.
• Experience in developing marketing and integration strategies for development products.
