Teaching position: Structural Engineering

About the role

The Institut d’Enseignement Supérieur de Ruhengeri is recruiting two full‑time teaching positions in Structural Engineering. Appointees will join the Civil Engineering Department in Ruhengeri, Rwanda, delivering undergraduate and graduate courses, supervising student projects, and contributing to curriculum development. The institute is accredited by the Ministry of Education (Ministerial Order No 005/2010/Mineduc) and follows the motto Scientia et Lux. Only candidates meeting the academic and experience criteria will be shortlisted, and incomplete applications will not be considered.

Required profile

• Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Structural Engineering or a closely related field.
• Minimum two years of teaching experience at a higher‑learning institution.
• Local or international candidates are welcome, with priority given to female applicants.
