Script Writer (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a creative Script Writer to develop engaging scripts for a variety of media, including YouTube videos, commercials, television spots, and digital campaigns. Working remotely, you will collaborate with production and creative teams to turn concepts into polished, production‑ready screenplays that align with our brand voice.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualize and write high‑quality scripts tailored to specific media formats.
• Brainstorm story ideas, themes, and character development with directors, producers, and the creative team.
• Conduct in‑depth research to ensure factual accuracy and authenticity.
• Craft realistic dialogue and control pacing to advance the plot.
• Participate in script readings and revise scripts based on stakeholder feedback.
• Maintain consistent storytelling and format scripts according to industry standards.
• Manage multiple writing projects and meet strict production deadlines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing, English, Communications, Film or a related field (preferred).
• 3‑5 years of professional experience as a script writer, screenwriter or copywriter.
• Strong narrative development skills with a deep understanding of pacing, structure and visual storytelling.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Flexibility to adapt writing style to different audiences and project requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency with scriptwriting software such as Final Draft, Celtx or Fade In.
• Robust portfolio showcasing a diverse range of scripts or produced work.
