Project Manager – Airfield Systems

About the role

The Project Manager will lead and oversee airfield systems projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. This role involves working on diverse, challenging environments and requires frequent travel to remote project sites.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and deliver airfield systems projects aligned with organisational goals and client requirements.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including engineers, contractors, and consultants.
• Engage with clients, vendors, and stakeholders to meet project objectives.
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with local and international regulations and safety protocols.
• Provide regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of project management experience in airport, aviation systems or infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of airfield lighting, navigation, communication and safety systems.
• Proficiency with project management tools and software.
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Willingness to work on remote sites for extended periods and travel frequently.
