Planning Manager – Construction Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Planning Manager to lead the monitoring, planning and control of large-scale construction projects. The role ensures that work is executed on time, within budget and in compliance with technical and legal standards, contributing directly to project success.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor project progress and control economic and time performance.
• Develop and update work plans in line with senior guidelines and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure legal compliance and adherence to deadlines.
• Analyse variances and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
• Prepare reports for stakeholders on schedule performance and risk mitigation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• 10+ years of planning experience on large-scale construction projects.
• Direct experience with high-rise, mixed-use developments; African project experience is a plus.
• Fluent English and willingness to travel as needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Experience using other planning/scheduling software.
• Strong project planning and management capabilities.
