Planning and Cost Control Technician (m/f)

About the role

The Planning and Cost Control Technician will support project planning, scheduling, cost engineering and resource management for large international construction projects. You will work closely with project teams to monitor performance, prepare reports and ensure accurate forecasting of costs and timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Support planning, scheduling and control activities, including cost engineering and resource allocation.
• Monitor and evaluate project cost and resource performance on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Prepare and present cost, revenue and progress reports for management.
• Analyze cost variances and forecast future project expenditures.
• Contribute to management reporting and assist in the preparation of project forecasts.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in project planning, controls and cost control.
• Experience on large international construction projects.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and client‑management abilities.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of MS Project.
• Familiarity with Candy‑CCS cost control software.
