Junior Motion Designer (Nationals Only)

About the role

Africa Global Logistics Rwanda Limited, based in the Kigali Special Economic Zone, is looking for a Junior Motion Designer (nationals only) to contribute to the design and production of animated content for the Group's digital and corporate platforms. The role works closely with the Audiovisual Production & Editing Officer to make video content more impactful while respecting graphic and technical standards. It is a full-time, permanent position.

Key responsibilities

• Create 2D animations, including motion design, animated typography, video graphics packages and transitions
• Adapt existing brand guidelines into animated formats
• Contribute to creative thinking during briefs (storyboards, visual concepts, pacing)
• Produce video graphic elements such as lower thirds, intros/outros, bumpers and animated jingles
• Integrate animations into video edits produced by the Audiovisual Production & Editing Officer
• Adapt content for different formats and platforms (social media, corporate, events)
• Ensure compliance with technical best practices (formats, resolutions, optimized exports)
• Help structure and improve the studio's animated templates
• Take part in project briefings and progress meetings and suggest ideas within the defined creative direction

Required profile

• Diploma (Bac+2 to Bac+3) in Motion Design, Audiovisual Production, Graphic Design or a related field
• Initial experience (internship, apprenticeship or up to 1-2 years) in motion design
• Portfolio showing creativity, a strong visual sense and understanding of corporate design codes
• Good understanding of pacing, visual storytelling and motion design principles
• Knowledge of digital formats and social media constraints
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, teamwork and ability to meet deadlines
• Willingness to learn and grow, and comfort in a multicultural environment
• Proficiency in French and English
