Graduate Associate Internship – Rwanda

About the role

The Graduate Associate Internship is the Young Professional Program of the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change in Rwanda. It offers recent Rwandan graduates a 12‑month, full‑time entry point to work on government advisory and public‑sector delivery projects that support Rwanda’s development priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct quantitative and qualitative research to inform project deliverables.
• Collect, clean, and organise data from government sources and perform basic trend analysis, benchmarking and comparisons.
• Support the creation of simple tools, trackers and models to monitor project indicators and progress.
• Assist in the development of briefing materials, reports and communication assets for stakeholders.

Required profile

• Rwandan national with a recent university degree.
• Demonstrated willingness to learn, fast learning ability and a proactive, can‑do attitude.
• Comfort with ambiguity, ownership of tasks and visible growth during the internship.
• Intellectual curiosity, drive and coachability are essential; prior technical experience is a plus but not required.
