Finance Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Manager to support the day‑to‑day execution of general‑ledger processes and provide accounting support to internal clients. The role involves account balancing, ledger reconciliation, reporting and resolving discrepancies while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement accounting projects and standard‑operating‑procedure audits across the property.
• Generate accurate reports and presentations, analyze data, and propose solutions to accounting issues.
• Compile, code, calculate, audit and verify financial information, including credit‑card ledger balances and contract checks.
• Achieve performance, budget and team goals; submit timely reports and document profit‑and‑loss statements.
• Monitor applicable taxes, ensure they are current, collected and accrued.
• Maintain a strong internal control environment to safeguard assets and complete period‑end close activities.
• Provide guidance to other units on accounting and budgeting policies and efficient use of financial resources.
• Stay up‑to‑date with accounting procedures such as return‑check handling, gross‑revenue reporting, write‑offs and consolidated deposits.

Required profile

• Four‑year bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field (no experience required) or a two‑year degree with at least two years of finance/accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, fraud and collection regulations, and tax requirements.
• Ability to analyze information, prioritize tasks and meet reporting deadlines.

Required skills

• Financial spreadsheet development (e.g., Excel‑based financial models).
