Digital Marketing Intern

About the role

A creative and enthusiastic Digital Marketing Intern is sought to support the marketing and communications team in executing digital campaigns, managing online platforms and creating engaging content. The role offers hands-on experience in digital marketing, social media management, branding and online advertising.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing digital marketing campaigns
• Create and schedule content for social media platforms
• Support social media community management and audience engagement
• Help create graphics, videos, captions and blog posts
• Monitor campaign performance and prepare basic analytics reports
• Support email marketing and online promotional activities
• Conduct market and competitor research
• Assist in website content updates and SEO activities
• Track marketing tasks, campaign deadlines and deliverables
• Support event promotion and brand visibility initiatives

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Business or a related field
• Strong interest in digital marketing and social media
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Creativity and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Good organizational and time-management skills

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing tools
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
• Added advantage: experience managing social media pages, knowledge of Canva, Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator, basic video editing, familiarity with Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, SEO or paid advertising platforms, and a portfolio of content work
