Contracts Coordinator – Procurement (Rwanda)

About the role

One Acre Fund is looking for a Contracts Coordinator to support its Rwanda procurement team. The role focuses on driving cost‑saving initiatives and coordinating all contracting activities that enable the organization to serve smallholder farmers more efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end tendering and contract execution for high‑value goods and services.
• Analyze annual spend, create a quarterly tender calendar, and conduct market research to increase competition.
• Oversee full contract lifecycles, track price tolerances, manage change control, and report cost savings.
• Conduct bi‑annual vendor evaluations and monthly supplier meetings to develop performance improvement plans.
• Act as the primary liaison between external suppliers and internal procurement teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement, contracts, or tender management.
• Proven ability to negotiate cost‑effective agreements and optimise sourcing processes.
• Strong analytical skills for spend analysis and market risk assessment.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
