Construction Site Manager (M/F)

About the role

The Construction Site Manager will lead the day‑to‑day execution of a civil construction project in Rwanda, ensuring that schedule, quality, safety and cost targets are met. You will coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, equipment and material deliveries while acting as the main point of contact for technical and production issues.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and supervise multiple work fronts on the construction site.
• Analyse construction drawings, identify constraints and work with the Construction Management team to develop solutions.
• Monitor productivity, resource utilisation and project progress, preparing activities in advance to meet deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with technical specifications, quality standards and safety regulations.
• Participate in production meetings and provide regular reports on progress, challenges and resource needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in construction site management, preferably on residential projects with multiple fronts.
• Proven ability to coordinate in‑house teams and subcontractors.
• Strong leadership, decision‑making, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluency in English and Portuguese.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD (planning tools are a plus).
