Carbon Project Implementation Lead – Rwanda

About the role

ATEC is launching a large‑scale IoT electric cooking carbon project in Rwanda. The Carbon Project Implementation Lead will coordinate the rollout on the ground, working closely with local distribution partners and the Global Operations team to deliver clean‑cooking solutions and generate digitised carbon credits.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the electric cooking project implementation across Rwanda.
• Oversee planning, execution, and completion of the project with implementation partners.
• Maintain project plans, ensuring milestones are met on time, within scope and budget.
• Identify and mitigate risks, and track deliverables.
• Represent ATEC locally, communicating objectives and progress to stakeholders.
• Manage relationships with the Government of Rwanda and local authorities to secure permits and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Engage community leaders to align project goals with local needs.
• Support after‑sales service, address customer inquiries, and drive usage adoption.
• Analyse performance data, recommend adjustments, and collaborate with Global Ops.

Required profile

• Native‑level proficiency in local languages and excellent English communication.
• Minimum 3 years experience in business development, project coordination or related fields.
• Degree in business, public relations, engineering or equivalent.
• Proven track record in market development and government relations.
