About the role
The Tony Blair Institute for Global Change is seeking an Analyst to support its advisory teams embedded within Government of Rwanda institutions. This entry‑level position will rotate across priority sectors such as trade, investment, tourism, public finance, and skills development, providing research and analytical support to senior advisors and the Country Director’s Office.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative research to inform project deliverables and decision‑making.
- Collect, clean, and organise data from government and other sources; perform basic analysis such as trend identification, benchmarking and comparisons.
- Develop simple tools, trackers and models to monitor project indicators and progress.
- Perform quality control on data and analytical outputs to ensure accuracy and validity.
- Draft high‑quality briefs, reports and communication material for internal and external stakeholders.
Required profile
- Early‑career professional with a strong curiosity and structured, delivery‑oriented mindset.
- Ability to quickly acquire sector‑specific knowledge on the job.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proactive, can‑do attitude and willingness to learn.
