Accounts Payable Accountant

About the role

Liquid Intelligent Technologies Rwanda is seeking an Accounts Payable Accountant to manage the full accounts payable cycle and support the company’s financial operations. The role will ensure timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices, cash management and compliance with company policies. You will be part of a fast‑growing team that supports Africa’s digital transformation through high‑capacity fiber networks and cloud services.

Key responsibilities

• Verify that invoices have all required documentation and approvals before entry.
• Process supplier payments accurately and on time.
• Liaise with procurement and suppliers to resolve accounts‑related issues.
• Prepare supplier reconciliations for review prior to payment.
• Generate and comment on ageing reports.
• Ensure statutory payments are processed within deadlines and comply with relevant regulations.
• Oversee bank and cash management, treasury operations and related compliance duties.

Required profile

• Proven experience in accounts payable or related finance function.
• Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders, including procurement and suppliers.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of statutory payment requirements and treasury processes.
