Technical Assistance Success Specialist – Fixed-term

About the role

The Technical Assistance Success Specialist will ensure that technical assistance (TA) aligns with the needs of investee farmers, with a focus on youth and young women. Working closely with the TA Manager, you will collect data, design initiatives, assess needs, and provide feedback to shape TA strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Support the TA Manager in refining assessments, prioritising support, and synthesising findings to guide phased TA delivery.
• Track implementation of TA plans, maintain progress trackers, follow up on actions, and flag delays.
• Act as the primary implementation partner for TA projects, engaging onsite or remotely with portfolio companies.
• Design and scope initiatives that address barriers faced by youth and young women farmers through surveys, questionnaires and field visits.
• Build internal capacity of investee staff via demonstrations, coaching and one‑on‑one sessions.
• Gather real‑time feedback from investees and farmers, document progress, and produce case studies.
• Coordinate with external partners to ensure initiatives match investee capacity and maturity.
