Senior Accounting Coordinator

About the role

The Senior Accounting Coordinator will support One Acre Fund’s finance team in Kigali by handling a range of coordination tasks and managing small‑scope projects. This position ensures accurate financial processing, reconciliations, and reporting for both internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Classify financial transactions and upload monthly payroll journal vouchers.
• Process month‑end adjusting journal entries and non‑farmer accounts receivable invoices.
• Manage monthly pre‑payment expense amortisation and BVA transaction alignment.
• Perform weekly mobile‑money and bank account reconciliations.
• Reconcile payroll, accounts payable, prepaid balances, and basic P&L items each month.
• Support financial reporting and assist internal and external audits with complete documentation.

Required profile

• Citizenship or permanent residency in Rwanda.
• Strong bookkeeping knowledge.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently on low‑complexity projects.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
