Senior Accountant – Finance & Administration

About the role

The Senior Accountant will lead the finance and administration accounting function, ensuring robust financial controls, accurate transaction posting, and timely reporting. This role supports the entire finance operation, from vendor payments to tax compliance, and collaborates closely with the finance manager.

Key responsibilities

• Process authorized invoices, maintain vendor and customer records, and reconcile trade payables using SAP MIRO.
• Post and reconcile expense accounts, accruals, prepayments, and provisions; ensure monthly balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Support sales order processing, intercompany reconciliations, and quarterly sign‑offs with related parties.
• Maintain the fixed‑assets register, run monthly depreciation, and perform bank reconciliations.
• Coordinate tax audits, file tax returns on schedule, and manage statutory payments.
• Prepare product costing, petty‑cash management, and support month‑end and year‑end closing.
• Generate monthly management reports, cash‑flow statements, and upload EPM trial balances for analysis.
• Ensure compliance with group accounting policies, authority matrices, and provide documentation for internal and statutory audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Extensive experience in accounting, preferably in a senior or lead capacity.
• Strong knowledge of financial controls, reporting standards, and tax regulations.

Required skills

• SAP (MIRO module) for invoice processing.
• Experience with EPM tools for trial‑balance uploads.
