Sales Manager – FMCG & Beverages

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead its FMCG and beverage portfolio across Rwanda and the wider East African market. The role focuses on driving both primary and secondary sales, expanding distribution channels, and achieving revenue and market‑share targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue and market‑share objectives.
• Manage and grow the distributor, dealer, and retail network within assigned territories.
• Drive primary and secondary sales for FMCG and beverage products.
• Identify new business opportunities, key accounts and untapped markets.
• Ensure product availability, visibility, merchandising and brand promotion.
• Monitor sales performance, competitor activity, market trends and customer preferences.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, modern‑trade partners and institutional clients.
• Plan and implement promotional activities, trade schemes and marketing campaigns.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales and collection targets.

Required profile

• PGDM or MBA in Business Administration, Marketing or Sales.
• Minimum 10–12 years of experience in sales, preferably within FMCG or beverage sectors.
