Information Security Analyst

About the role

The Information Security Analyst will protect our digital assets by monitoring, detecting, analyzing, and responding to cybersecurity incidents. You will work closely with IT and other departments to ensure a resilient infrastructure and compliance with security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and events from SIEM and other tools, performing initial triage and escalation as needed.
• Analyze suspected intrusions, confirm attacks, assess impact, and document incidents.
• Participate in FinSOC implementation, manage and monitor FinSOC alerts.
• Contribute to SOC process improvement, playbook development, and incident handling procedures.
• Conduct regular vulnerability scans and review compliance status of all computing assets.
• Stay updated on emerging threats, trends, and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with IT, security teams, and other departments when security issues arise.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in a cybersecurity or SOC role.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST and MITRE ATT&CK.

Required skills

• Experience with SIEM platforms (Logrythm, Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight, Sentinel).
• Knowledge of networking protocols, Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Understanding of firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus solutions.
• Ability to perform vulnerability scanning and remediation tracking.
