Hotel Cleanliness Expert

About the role

As a Hotel Cleanliness Expert you will help create memorable guest experiences by maintaining the appearance and hygiene of guest rooms and public areas at our Kigali property. You will work as part of a dedicated Guest Environment team, ensuring every space reflects Marriott’s high standards of hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and turn guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to brand standards.
• Respond promptly to guest requests for additional amenities or services.
• Stock housekeeping carts and manage inventory of linens, supplies, and amenities.
• Follow safety procedures, lift and move objects up to 50 lb, and maintain a tidy work environment.
• Report maintenance issues and uphold confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Commitment to safety, quality standards, and guest privacy.
• Professional appearance, uniform compliance, and clear communication.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using housekeeping equipment and cleaning chemicals safely.
• Basic knowledge of hotel property management procedures.
