About the role
The Central Credit Analyst will support the Head of Credit in managing INGANJI SACCO RUBAVU’s loan portfolio. The role ensures credit decisions are based on rigorous financial analysis and align with the SACCO’s policies and risk tolerance.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate loan analyses from branches and provide advice to loan officers.
- Ensure adherence to loan policies and monitor portfolio quality.
- Safeguard collateral and prepare registration documents.
- Implement loan agreements and Board Credit Committee recommendations at headquarters.
- Prepare monthly loan status reports for senior management.
- Assist in drafting credit process documentation and conduct research for department development.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, banking, accounting or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of credit experience in the financial sector, preferably micro‑finance.
- Rwandan nationality, not older than 45 years.
- Strong understanding of branch operations, loan regulations and credit risk management.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and interpersonal skills.
