Aircraft Technician B1 – Kigali

About the role

Sabena Engineering is seeking a qualified Aircraft Technician B1 to join its Kigali team. You will work on the maintenance and repair of civil aircraft such as Boeing and Airbus models, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Execute planned maintenance tasks and checks according to the maintenance schedule or when specific problems arise.
• Perform line and base maintenance on a variety of aircraft, including both routine and urgent projects.
• Maintain high‑quality standards in all maintenance work, component handling, and documentation.
• Interpret technical information, engineering diagrams, and manuals accurately.
• Collaborate with other departments to deliver optimal service to clients.

Required profile

• Valid Part‑66 B1 licence with an Airbus A330 type rating.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in aircraft line or base maintenance.
• Strong problem‑solving, decision‑making and communication abilities.
• Flexibility to work weekends when urgent maintenance is required.
• Fluent English proficiency.
