Senior Manager, Right Fit Evidence

About the role

The Right‑Fit Evidence (RFE) Unit at IPA is looking for a Senior Manager to lead the strategic delivery of a multi‑country education scaling project funded by the FCDO. You will oversee advisory engagements, manage a small team of Advisors, and contribute to RFE’s overall strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for implementers, funders and government agencies, coordinating multiple project teams to meet evidence, learning and M&E needs.
• Lead design, content and delivery of the large multi‑partner, multi‑country FCDO SCALE project, acting as the project management hub.
• Provide technical leadership for right‑fit MEL activities, ensuring research and evaluation inform scaling decisions.
• Oversee MEL and research activities conducted through IPA country offices and external partners.
• Manage project finances, delivering high‑quality outputs within budget.
• Support new business development, proposal coordination and external relationship management.
• Guide the performance, development and well‑being of 2‑3 Advisors and contribute to RFE’s strategic goals.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., education, development studies, public policy).
• Significant experience managing multi‑country projects and advisory teams in the education sector.
• Proven ability to work with bilateral funders, government stakeholders and implementing partners.
• Strong financial management and budgeting experience.
• Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and well‑being.
