Project Finance Officer

About the role

SNV is hiring a Project Finance Officer to support the country’s finance function. Reporting to the Country Finance Manager, the officer ensures accurate and comprehensive financial reporting for both country and project activities, in line with SNV policies, donor procedures, regulations and guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Provide (non‑requested) financial data, analyses and advice to internal and external parties to support decision‑making.
• Give financial advice that balances country interests, relevant regulations, corporate standards and donor requirements.
• Answer questions regarding financial administration and data, following corporate procedures.
• Contribute to global finance procedures, guidelines and finance strategy by providing feedback and proposing changes.
• Execute, check and consolidate activities to ensure complete and correct allocation of costs and time.
• Ensure internal and external reporting aligns with financial regulations, SNV standards and donor requirements.
• Assist in the management of intercompany financial matters.

Required profile

• Reports to the Country Finance Manager.
