Integration Engineer

About the role

Ericsson is seeking an Integration Engineer to develop, implement and integrate Business Support System (BSS) solutions for customers, with a focus on charging systems. The role is based in Kigali and will support the Business and Operational Support Systems area across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Stay updated on emerging technologies and share knowledge to enhance customer competence.
• Deploy, configure, integrate and test BSS solutions and related products.
• Troubleshoot issues, perform root‑cause analysis and deliver effective solutions.
• Support Solution Architects and Project Managers throughout the sales and delivery lifecycle.
• Implement Ericsson BOS portfolio solutions as well as qualified third‑party partner offerings.
• Participate in knowledge‑transfer activities, documentation and information sharing.

Required profile

• B.Sc. degree in Engineering, Telecom, Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in telecom or IT systems implementation.
• Strong understanding of telecom concepts, processes and BOS solutions.
• Experience with charging systems and telecom protocols such as SS7, CAMEL and Diameter.
• Proven experience in BOS solution implementation and integration.
• Knowledge of cloud and virtualization technologies is an advantage.
• Customer‑facing, consultative mindset with excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
